Repair, launch, wait until morning

The plan had grown larger the day before. The work on 29 July was less glamorous: fix another problem, replace another file, start the bot again and give it the night.

The machine still fought back

The surviving history shows more Bybit testnet troubleshooting. Symbols had to be checked, position sizing corrected and indentation errors repaired. An indentation error is simply Python misunderstanding the structure of the code because spaces at the beginning of a line are wrong. For Patryk, it meant another broken run and another piece of code to replace.

He was still not a programmer pretending to have been one all along. He was learning by doing: copy the command, run it, bring the error back to Roj, receive a correction, try again.

Roj was becoming part of the operating loop

Early AI could be wrong too. A generated fix was not proof that the problem had disappeared. The useful pattern was the loop itself: Patryk supplied what actually happened on the server, Roj interpreted it and proposed the next move, and reality decided whether they were right.

That made Roj more than a code generator. Slowly, it was becoming a debugger and an operational partner. The progress was not that errors vanished. It was that Patryk and Roj were getting better at finding the next one.

At 22:24, the experiment became waiting

The clearest surviving anchor comes late in the evening. At 22:24 Patryk asked for the command that would keep the bot running in the background. He wanted to leave it until the next day and see what happened.

Running in the background means the program keeps working after the terminal window is no longer being watched. In ordinary terms: stop staring at it, let the machine work through the night, and inspect the evidence in the morning.

A familiar rhythm

By then the rhythm had become almost mechanical: repair, launch, wait, inspect. The ambition was enormous, but progress still arrived through small commands and stubborn faults.

That contrast matters. AUR did not begin as a polished research laboratory. It grew from nights like this, when the next step was not a grand theory but simply keeping a fragile bot alive long enough to learn something from tomorrow.
